Major Summary
Residential Plumbing Fundamentals – Level 1 is an intensive, hands-on training program designed to build practical plumbing skills in a real workshop environment.
Approximately 90% of the course is hands-on training, focusing on residential drainage, venting, water supply systems, fixture installation, troubleshooting, and service practices.
Safety is covered on Day 1, and plumbing code learning is integrated throughout the program (approximately 30 hours of code exposure).
If thoroughly understood, this course covers approximately 20%–25% of Red Seal Plumbing Exam foundational content.
This program prepares students to become job-ready plumbing assistants or entry-level apprentices.

Practical Plumber – Level 2 is an advanced, hands-on plumbing training program designed for students who have completed Level 1 and want to strengthen their technical knowledge, code understanding, and job-site leadership skills.
This course focuses on advanced drainage systems, wet venting, vent sizing, water distribution systems, service diagnostics, inspections, and job-site coordination.
Training is primarily workshop-based with real-world troubleshooting scenarios and system evaluations.
Level 2 moves students from “basic installer” to confident residential plumbing technician ready for higher responsibility.

• Design and size multi-fixture drainage systems
• Apply fixture unit calculations and pipe sizing logic
• Size horizontal branches and vertical stacks correctly
• Install and troubleshoot residential wet vent systems

• Make proper water distribution sizing decisions
