Mark Felix is a veteran instructor at Imperial Skills Academy with an extensive career spanning over 18 years in residential and commercial plumbing and gas-fitting. Mark’s focus is on developing precision and troubleshooting skills in his students, preparing them for the unpredictable nature of real-world job sites. Having owned and operated his own contracting firm, he brings a unique business perspective to the classroom, teaching students not just how to do the work, but how to succeed in the industry. His areas of expertise include piping systems, sanitation standards, and project estimation.

As our Career Counselor, Ala Moayeri is dedicated to the “job-ready” promise of Imperial Skills Academy. With over 12 years of experience in recruitment, and career coaching, he bridges the gap between classroom training and meaningful employment.
Ala works closely with students on resume development, interview preparation, and strategic networking within the skilled trades sector. His focus is on identifying individual strengths and aligning them with the needs of local employers to ensure strong employment outcomes.
In addition to his workforce expertise, Ala is a licensed Immigration Consultant, providing valuable insight into Canadian immigration pathways and work authorization processes.
He holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) with a focus on Student Services and Development from the University of Toronto, as well as a Master of Management and Information Technology from Sweden. His academic background strengthens his commitment to student success, career development, and long-term professional growth.
